Laundry

Plan washing around drying capacity, care labels and putting clothes away, rather than starting loads faster than the flat can accommodate them.

Keep active products labelled, secure and accessible without using appliance clearances or food storage as extra cupboard space.

Make the return to drawers and hangers part of the load, with simple folding and enough storage space for an ordinary wash.

Keep the machine accessible and move sorting, drying and folding to suitable temporary spaces rather than forcing every stage into one corner.

Choose collection points and manageable basket sizes around who changes where, then make responsibility for each load clear.
